New crescent for Shawwal 1431 will become visible to the naked eyes in North America on Thursday September 9, 2010. Most likely the beginning of Ramadan will be on Friday September 10, 2010. However, this has to be verified by sighting the new moon.

Please join us for iftar and special programs for the 21th and 23rd nights of Ramadan, and special Ramadan program from Aug 31 to Sept 4, 2010. All programs starts with Maghrib prayer followed by iftar and English lectures by Dr. Hamid Mavani and special supplications duas.

         
ICCNC hosts and sponsors musical, dramatic, poetry and spoken word performances throughout the year, as well as other cultural events such as our acclaimed Islam and Authors series. ICCNC is interested in promoting the work of artists and writers who explore different aspects of Islam and Muslims' experiences.
 
 
ICCNC has jumaa services every Friday afternoon. We also have religious services for major Islamic holy days , such as Ramadan and Ashura. We also provide individual religious services such as certificates of declaration of Islam and Islamic marriages and divorces.
 
 
ICCNC's Andesheeh School provides instruction in Qur'an, ethics and Islamic studies or children and teenagers. We have also classes in Qur'an recitation. ICCNC hosts a chapter of Toastmsters. We host workshops on immigration and other legal issues and we have lectures and educational events in Farsi and English.
