Each fall the Faith Trio puts on a Fall Harvest Gathering. For the first time, it is a Springtime get-together of the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California, Kehilla Community Synagogue, and Montclair Presbyterian Church, and everyone who wants to gather with us. Time to consider an interesting issue and to meet people from each faith tradition in break-out rooms.

Just after Easter Holy Week and Passover end, and just before Ramadan begins, we will gather to consider this universal activity of creating sacred time. Why do we all do that? How many ways do we make times special? We celebrate, mourn, rest, engage in thanksgiving, mark anniversaries…

After a few short presentations, we will have time for small group discussions. What is a favorite sacred time of your tradition? Why is it meaningful to you? Come share your experiences.
