East Bay School for Boys Students Visit ICCNC

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 36 sixth graders from the East Bay School for Boys in Berkeley visited ICCNC. Their teacher, Mrs. Nina Cohn, and eight of the parents accompanied the students on this tour. Mr. Sheikholeslami gave a presentation on the core beliefs and practices of Islam, followed by a question and answer session.

The students then toured the Prayer Hall and learned about the Islamic prayers and the congregational prayers. The students also visited the Islamic civilization posters in the Main Hallway and visited the Main Lecture Hall. The students and their parents were appreciative of the tour. ICCNC hopes this becomes an annual visit by the East Bay School for Boys sixth-graders in the future.
