“In Search of Hidden Meaning” Virtual Art Exhibition - Submission Deadline Extended to June 20, 2020
Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California (ICCNC) Presents:
“In Search of Hidden Meaning”
We will be selecting up to 10 artists and they’ll receive a $200 honorarium besides exhibiting online at ICCNC’s website for 3 months. This honorarium is small support to help local artists through the hardship because of the COVID-19.
If you know any local artist who might benefit please forward this invitation to them. The deadline to submit works is now on June 20, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Exhibition Date & Place: June- September 2020 at online Gallery of ICCNC
Submission Deadline: June 20, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. PST
Submission Fee: FREE
Honorarium for Selected Artists: $200
Eligibility: Artists must be living and working in one of the nine counties of San Francisco Bay Area including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma. Artists 18 years and older who are actively creating and exhibiting art are eligible. Any style, expertise, medium, and background is accepted as long as the work is:
Reflecting the theme of the exhibition: Reflecting on hidden meanings behind the month of Ramadan, fasting, Night of Destiny (Laylat al-Qadr), Eid Fitr, and our relationship and pathway toward Allah
Being aligned with ICCNC’s mission and vision and reflect Islamic values- Artistically and professionally executed and is interesting for the greater community
