The new crescent moon was sighted many places in the U.S. with the naked eye at sunset tonight; therefore, Saturday, March 1, 2025 will be the first day of Ramadan, 1446 A.H. 

From all of us at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California (ICCNC), including the Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and passionate volunteers, we extend heartfelt wishes to you and your loved ones for a blessed Ramadan.

Ramadan holds a profound place in our hearts—a time for deep spiritual reflection, fasting, and engagement with the Qur’an. It’s a period dedicated to prayer, personal growth, giving to those in need, and reinforcing the ties within our community.

Join Us for Special Ramadan Events: We invite you to join us for a series of special Ramadan iftars and events. These gatherings provide an opportunity for communal prayers , iftars, and strengthening bonds that sustain us during these chaotic and challenging times. Together, we can hold fast to God’s rope, undivided and remember the blessings bestowed upon us (Qur’an 3:103).
