ICCNC Presents a Fun and Entertaining Program for this year's Nowruz Celebration
ICCNC: The Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California is offering a fantastic program for the upcoming New Year for people who are interested in this ancient ritual. The Art team that planned and coordinated the series for the New Year's ritual will provide a variety of programs such as an art market, food, live music performances, art workshops and fun for children and families, in addition to poetry readings and performances by Andeesheh Farsi students. The programs will take place from 1:00 pm -6:00 pm on March 11th, 2017.
In addition to the programs offered in Persian, a one-hour program will be provided for English-speaking audiences and especially American citizens who are interested in attending this event.

The schedule of events is listed as follows:
1- 6 p.m.: Art exhibit and Bazaar
2- 3 p.m.: Andeesheh's performance and entertainments for kids and families (art and craft stations, egg painting, face painting, balloon making, and more)
3:30- 4:30 p.m.: English program (presentation and film screening about Nowruz, interactive community discussion about Nowruz and its culture)
5- 6 p.m.: Live Music and Farsi program (poetry, film screening about Nowruz, remarks by the new Board)
While the event is free to attend, a $10 donation is encouraged
