ICCNC Interfaith Team participated for Climate Action Day in Oakland

ICCNC: On Saturday, April 28, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. members of the ICCNC Interfaith Team participated in the Interfaith Prayer Service for Climate Action Day at the Lake Merritt in Oakland.

Mr. Ali Sheikholeslami, a member of the ICCNC Board of Directors led the Muslims’ prayer by reading the translation of Surah Al-Rahman verses 1-13 and Surah Abraham verses 31-33 from Quran.

Jewish, Christian, and Hindu prayers were read as part of the service, calling for peace, unity, and love for the earth and all God’s creatures.
