Annual Fundraising and Celebration

ICCNC has started its end-of-the-year annual fundraiser and we are asking you to donate generously to ICCNC to sustain its programs and services to the community in 2022. The pandemic has severely limited our rental income and in-person donations, and we are relying on your generosity during this annual fundraising. With blessings from Allah (SWT) and your generous contribution, we hope to reach our goal of $75,000 by December 31, 2021.

The year 2021 was a trying and challenging year for all of us due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We witnessed the loss of numerous lives around us and the globe. We had to endure the hardships of social distancing and isolation. Despite all these challenges, ICCNC continued its services to the community with your continuous support. Here are the highlights of the ICCNC’s activities in 2021:

  • In partnership with Golestan Foundation and with your support, ICCNC donated $40,000 worth of life-saving medical equipment to the clinics in the rural areas of Iran fighting COVID.

  • In partnership with Support Life Foundation, facilitated the distribution of close to 100 tons of groceries to the other Islamic centers and masjids in the East Bay and the neighbors and families in need.

  • Prepared and distributed over 5000 meals to unsheltered populations in Oakland

  • Produced and broadcasted special nightly Ramadan programs for the entire Ramadan

  • Commemorated various religious events, including Ramadan, Muharram, Eids, and Milads, hosting esteemed scholars via Zoom and YouTube.

  • Organized lectures on Masnavi, Ghazzali, and Iqbal Lahori by Dr. Soroush to increase our knowledge of Persian and Islamic mystical literature.

  • Provided necessary Islamic services such as marriage, burial, and memorial services.

  • Conducted weekly dua Kumayl and Friday prayers in-person and broadcasted the Khutbahs via Zoom and YouTube.
