REGISTRATION CLOSED - ICCNC Family Summer Camp - August 11-13, 2023

ICCNC Family Summer Camp at Camp Winthers, Soda Spring, CA

Please join us for a two-night stay at an all-inclusive summer family camp at Camp Winthers, three miles south of Soda Springs, next to Lake Cascade, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Sierra. The camp is a no-hassle, fun family experience. The camp provides bunk beds in shared cabins (eight beds per cabin) and two breakfasts, one lunch, and two dinners. The campers need to bring their snacks. 

The facilities are rustic but adequate. Campers must bring their sleeping bags, blankets, sheets, and pillows. The camp is above 6000 ft elevation, so the temperature at night is cold (42-45 F). The campers should be prepared for very chilly nights. Please bring warm sleeping bags, blankets, and warm clothes. Wear your clothes in layers since the days are warm and the nights are cold. Showers and electricity are available.

We will have a variety of activities, such as yoga, hiking, nature walks, boating, art and crafts, games, and congregational prayers.

Dates:

  • Check-in time - Friday, August 11, at 2 PM

  • Check-out time - Sunday, August 13, at noon

Fees:

  • $200 for 12 years and above

  • $170 for youth 2 to 11 years old

  • children under 2 are free

  • A large family has the option to purchase a private cabin if they pay for the entire cabin (8-person)

  • Fees are non-refundable

Registration and Payment:

  • The registration deadline is Sunday, August 6th. The registration is first-come, first-serve, without exception. Space is limited; register early!

  • Download the Release of Liability Form, sign it, and email it to us at info@iccnc.org or bring it to the camp.

  • Take I-80 East toward Reno, Exit right at Soda Springs (before Donner Summit), Turn right at a flashing yellow light onto Soda Springs Road (about 1 mile), Cross railroad, go uphill approximately 3/4 mile, Turn right on Pahatsi Road, Pahatsi Road becomes a ROUGH dirt road for about two miles, Turn left at the Camp Winthers sign, Camp Winthers will be approximately one mile down the road.
