ICCNC Statement about Israel's Unlawful War Against Iran

Israel has started an unlawful and criminal war against Iran in a clear violation of international law and Article 2 (4) of the United Nations Charter that prohibits "the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state." This act of aggression has tragically resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians, including women and children, and the destruction of critical civilian infrastructure across Iran. 

ICCNC unequivocally condemns this war of aggression by Israel and the killing of innocent civilians and calls for an immediate ceasefire to prevent a wider war. We also demand that the US government suspend all weapons transfers and military aid to Israel immediately and investigate the use of U.S.-supplied weapons in attacks on Iran, Gaza, and neighboring countries.

We urge the members of our community and all peace-loving Americans to take action by calling on Congress to condemn this attack and firmly reject any move toward war with Iran.
