ICCNC's Statement on the Merciless Massacre in Las Vegas

ICCNC:In the wake of the brutal massacre in Las Vegas, ICCNC Affairs conveyed sympathy to the victims of this tragic incident. The text of the announcement is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he has saved all mankind.” (Qur’an, 5:32)

Like all Americas and every conscious mind, Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California  is deeply shocked and saddened by the heinous and blind bloodshed on streets of Las Vegas. We express our solidarity with residents of the State of Nevada and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of all those who lost their precious lives to another senseless act of violence and pray for a full and speedy recovery of those injured. The murders in Las Vegas represent an unconscionable attack on humanity and all of us everywhere. We recognize the inherent value of human life regardless of color, religion, race, denomination and country of origin and condemn this and all other forms of crime against any human being.
