Eid ul-Fitr 1445 and Zakat al-Fitr

The month of Shawwal's new moon will be born on Monday, April 8, 2024, and it cannot be seen by the naked eye in the US and around the world until Tuesday, April 9, 2024; therefore, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, will be the first day of Shawwal 1445 and Eid ul-Fitr.
The prayer will start at 9:00 AM sharp InshaAllah. The Khutbah will be live-streamed on ICCNC YouTube.
We will open the service by having the Eid’s takbirs followed by the Eid Prayer and Khutbah (sermon) by brother Ahmad Rashid Salim. Following the Khutbah, we will have a community breakfast.
The recommended amount for Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrah) for the Bay Area is $15 per person, and the amount of Kaffara or Fidyah is $5 per day of missing fasts. The religious dues are highly recommended to be set aside and paid before the Eid al-Fitr prayers. Both of these can be paid securely by clicking the links below.
